Wizmo SaaS Approach

Wizmo, the Software as a Service (SaaS) experts, who partner with ISV's to create a new delivery mechanism with the ISV's existing software applications.

We take the risk by utilizing our SaaS development engineers and existing infrastructure to create a SaaS solution at no cost to the ISV.  This SaaS solution is meant to augment your current offering as an alternate means to reach clients who were either unable or unwilling to be targeted by traditional software offerings.

Our solution allows ISV's to scale as the client base increases and decreases without the need to worry about infrastructure or overhead costs.

Time to market is drastically reduced over deploying a SaaS application in house; and the ISV will not have a need for additional headcount, infrastructure upgrades, licensing, or headaches.  Simply put, there are no hidden costs or agendas.

Market Trends for SaaS
According to Stamford, CT - based research firm Gartner, Inc. the global SaaS market is expected to grow to $19.3 billion by 2011, tripling in size from the 6.3 billion it was in 2006.  IDC predicts SaaS will be worth 10.7 billion in 2009.  According to IDC, software-as-a-service is "intuitively appealing" to SMBs, with 5.1 percent of PC-owning small firms and 15.2 percent of PC-owning medium sized companies planning to adopt a SaaS solution within the next 12 months.  Both small and mid-sized firms cite the ability to pay for capabilities as needed as the top reason to try SaaS, though adding new users without difficulty and lightening the workload of IT staff was nearly as important to mid-sized businesses.

Wizmo Inc, a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution provider.  SaaS is a model of software deployment where an application is hosted as a service provided to customers across the Internet.  By eliminating the need to install and run the application on the customer's own computer, SaaS alleviates the customer's burden of software maintenance, ongoing operation, and support.  Using SaaS also can reduce the up-front expense of software purchases, through less costly, on-demand pricing.  From the software vendor's standpoint, SaaS has the attraction of providing stronger protection of its intellectual property and establishing an ongoing revenue stream.
