Technical Support Analyst

Wizmo Inc., an Eden Prairie based company, a leader in the Software as a Service (SaaS) industry is looking for an experienced Technical Support Analyst to join our team.

Reponsibilities include:

  • Escalates calls and works with Level 2 to resolve issues
  • Teaches users by answering questions, interpreting operating instructions, providing references
  • Determines source of error by reviewing procedures and actions taken by user; instructs user to perform diagnostic procedures
  • Resolves problems by issuing corrective instructions; consults with coworkers and vendors
  • Performs customer Quality Assurance on weekly basis
  • Improves programs by notifying programmers of problems; making recommendations
  • Follows calls through to end resolution
  • Carries after hours pager on a rotating basis
  • Assists with basic System Administration duties

Requirements:

  • Two year technical degree or 1-2 years related experience; additional education/certification a plus
  • Experience with the following a plus: HTML, MS Office, Windows 95, 98, 2000, XP, MAC OS, hardware platforms, Outlook, Citrix & Active Directory, VBScript
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
