Wizmo Inc., an Eden Prairie based company, a leader in the Software as a Service (SaaS) industry is looking for an experienced Development Engineer to join our Research and Development team.

• Deliver solutions in accordance with partner and internal support requirements
• Integrate and optimize Win32 and native web applications in Wizmo’s managed service platform
• Gather customer requirements, design and develop most effective solution
• Work closely with other Wizmo staff to shepherd solutions into products
• Evaluate and implement new products, technologies and services to enhance Wizmo’s managed service platform
• Perform on-going analysis and make recommendations for optimization of architecture and operational procedures
• Serve as a contributing Development member and contact for key partners with regard to new products or services, escalated service issues, as well as any related logistical planning

• Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to identify usability problems and use innovation to find workarounds / solutions
• Effectively handle multiple projects and deadlines, prioritize requests and adapt to rapidly changing conditions
• Proven track record in major enterprise level projects
• Minimum 4 years technical experience, additional 2 years experience in lieu of 4 year degree in Information Systems / Computer Science / Engineering
• Extensive experience with Windows Terminal Server, Active Directory and Citrix MetaFrame
• Experience with: Exchange, SQL, Linux/BSD, Apache.
• TCP/IP and internetworking experience, knowledge of routers, load balancers and firewalls

• Programming / scripting skills: Visual Basic, shell, COM, Win32API, Window Scripting Host – Knowledge of Visual C, Java helpful, but not required
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
• Customer service and team-oriented
